Our Rope Handling and Flow Workshop is a perfect next step for those with a foundational understanding of shibari techniques. This beginner-friendly class will delve into the subtleties of rope manipulation, enhancing your skill set and confidence in creating beautiful, flowing ties.
What You Will Learn:
- Rope Handling tecniques: rope tension, consistency, and control, ensuring both safety and elegance in your ties.
- Flow and Movement: seamless and fluid approach to shibari, learning how to move with intention and grace while tying.
- Transition Techniques: Explore how to transition between ties smoothly, maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of your work.
Requirements:
Participants should have a basic knowledge of shibari, including how to perform a single column tie. If you’re new to shibari, we recommend attending our introductory workshop first.
What to Bring:
- A minimum of two 8-meter lengths of rope (we can provide some ropes if you don't have yours yet)
- Comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement
- An open mind and a willingness to learn
